um why would forgery be taught with disable device and lockpicking?

The others could fit together under 'Tinkering' (for those who work with fine mechanisms eg watchmakers). Sleight of Hand is a side effect and Munitions even fits for those required to disarm bomb mechanisms (ie a specialist option).

You have to think like a criminal to answer that one. Forgery trains a person to create false documents but also allows one to detect false ones as well. Very handy if your society is big on art or diplomacy.

To that end, I would second the addition of Escape Artist and Perform to your skill set...

... and suggest "Espionage" as your theme name.

I mean, come on, who wouldn't go to Spy School? :)

... and what's wrong with calling that class "Larceny"?

Seriously, if you are teaching criminal skills, you are teaching criminal skills -- even if you are only doing so for the legitimate purpose of protecting against these same skills.

Tinkering (I like that, Tonguez) = disable device, munitions, open lock
Fakery = forgery, sleight of hand, disguise

This works if you are amenable to splitting the skills a bit more and in a different way.
