Need Material on Roman Empire

You're being a bit broad as the Roman Empire spanned 1500 years not counting the Republican era and most of Europe, as you can imagine there's a lot of material. If you want really expansive you could try the classic Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire by Edward Gibbon. Also The Roman Revolution by Richard Syme was a groundbreaking work on Caesar Augustus, under whom the Empire began, and he goes into the cultural, economic, militaristic, even literary, not to mention political aspects of a period between 44 BCE and 12CE.
I'm sure a look at your local library will yield many results, but if you respond with greater specifics to what you're looking for I'm sure the Roman buffs on this site will be able to tell you what you're looking to find out.
