D&D 5E Need Monster hybrid ideas, please help

So I'm running a 5e campaign and my BBEG is making hybrid monsters. There are 25 of them but I only have 1 done but still need ideas for the other 24. I have a few but nothing concrete. The first one is a kraken/elder brain hybrid with a little blue and black dragon thrown in. Looking for inspiration, any help is appreciated.

Allow me to introduce you to the Grootslang, whose legend (South African, I believe) can be summed up as “when the gods first created animals, they made a mistake.”

It’s like a cross between an elephant and a serpent. Pathfinder had a version of it in their first edition:

Pathfinder gave it the ability to stomp the ground so hard it dealt damage and could knock its enemies prone if they failed the save.

I remember reading that it was supposed to have power over elephants and serpents (being the folklore ancestor of both), but I don’t know if this is accurate to the original legend or apocryphal...
