New PC Race: Jotnar

Name is derived from Jotun, which translates to Giant. The Jotnar are hybrid kin of giants the way Tieflings are to devils.

Average Height: 7’ 1˝ –7’ 5˝
Average Weight: 320–350 lb.
Ability Scores: +2 Strength, +2 Constitution
Size: Medium
Speed: 6 squares
Vision: Normal
Languages: Common, Giant
Skill Bonuses: +2 Endurance, +2 Nature
Elemental Resistance: At character creation, choose Cold, Fire or Lightning as the damage type you have 5 + half-level resistance. This choice remains throughout your character’s life.
Oversized: You can use weapons of your size or one size larger than you as if they were your size.
Reprisal: You can use Reprisal as an encounter power.

Reprisal Jotnar Racial Power
After taking the brunt of the attack, you use your mass and high pain tolerance to deliver a counter that catches your assailant off-guard.
Encounter
Immediate Reaction Melee Weapon
Trigger: You take damage from a melee attack.
Target: The creature who triggered the power.
Attack: Strength vs. AC
Hit: 1[W] + Strength modifier damage.
Increase to 2[W] + Strength modifier damage at 21st level.
Special: You have Combat Advantage against the target who triggered the power until the start of his next turn.

Gut reaction is that it's a little too powerful. Hard to be certain, but comparing to Minotaur, it gets an upgraded Ferocity and trades Goring Charge for energy resistance. I guess it depends how much energy resistance is worth but based on the Tiefling I figured it was at least a moderate amount.

You shouldn't include the +2 for combat advantage in the power Attack line. You should have the power last until the start or end of your next turn.

Poor Earth Giants get no representation? :) Yeah, not sure what they'd get instead of the resistance.

Seems totally usable for a home game.
