Black Diamond Games reports that they simply can't get a lot of 4e titles any more, here:

On Alliance Distribution's catalog, the Dark Sun Campaign Setting and Adventurer's Vault 1 books are entirely absent.

These things go in and out of stock at Amazon quite a bit. I had my eye on the Dungeon Delve book about a month back, but it was OOS. It came back, and I almost ordered it; now it is out again. It bears watching, of course, but I am not too worried.

Frequently Amazon does not restock books once they have sold all the ones they originally ordered.

If this is indeed the case, then there's a whole bunch of other 4E books which will soon be in the category of "not being available directly from amazon.com".

We definitely have Player's Handbooks available, so if you're seeing an absence at Amazon it's likely a hiccup and they'll probably appear there soon. If you're having problems finding them at your local store, I would just poke the owner/manager and see if they can order some more.
