Mageknight. Runeknight doesn't really fit D&D, as rune-magic is a special form of magic. It would fit if the class would specialize in rune-magic, but for a fighter/wizard combo, it's Mageknight.

AT first I thought of Mageblade, but apparently someone already thought of that. So then I thought up the perfect non-composite word for a fighter-wizard PC class: Elf.

"Gish" is the gith word for multiclassed fighter/magic-users.

It is also the Farsi word for "piss" if pronounced "geesh". How about a Spellslinger.

Well since you like Adept and its not going to be as good as a full wizard or a full fighter how about

Warrior Adept?

My group is stuck with a good name for a core class with strong fighting and arcane spell casting abilities. ( Imagine this to be some kind of Hex-Blade that can belong to all alignments )

Because I have some kind of aversion towards names like Favoured Soul ( My group preferred to call it Mystic ), could you dream up a one word title for this class ?

( I know Green Ronin has Thanemage but it does'nt sound all that hot. I would have liked Adept if it had'nt been made an NPC class. )
