Guide of Modos
"Gromdi Tahn-Tsuddr (Red Merchant), the Treasure King, is a cutthroat old dwarf, usually identified by his white-streaked beard woven with a dozen brass rings, and bald head. He runs the most lucrative trans-Wastes caravan, and folk know that he's coming when they see a huge dust cloud on the horizon, and when he's much closer, the monstrous beasts that pull his wagon-house.
Before beginning his annual trek from Snowcrown, the Treasure King received an unusual request from a wealthy patron: transport a golden chest and its two guards to the elven capital, Marijethu. Normally Gromdi would balk at such a request: acting as a porter. But the patron, the arch-father of clan Shruud Tchoi-Udsh(Stone Giants), paid much gold, and more gem-stones besides.
You are part of this caravan."
