Paladin multiclassing as a cleric

Maybe give skill focus to the character when the skills overlap? Overpowered perhaps?

Okay, I want to take the Divine Oracle paragon path but I want to be a cha based paladin, so I would rather not stay a straight paladin or mc warlord since that defeats the purpose altogether. I am going to talk to my DM about it I justed to get a few opinions from you guys.

Unless your picking the multiclass at 1st lvl you can retrain religion the level before picking Cleric. Its wierd not having religion trained for a lvl and suddenly your a "Cleric" of that religion...

My guy is a Paladin/cleric and the DM gave me a free focus in religion.

I'd say that either skill focus or retraining your initial skill picks would be fair. I can't remember if Religion is a "locked" skill for paladins, but if it is, I'd go with skill focus.
