Rhote accompanies the others to check the tents. When they are done he burns as many as he can with his fire jet ability, cackling as he does so.

He has six fire jets left for the day, but if burning all the tents uses them up, I'll keep one in reserve just in case.

Rhote finds the treasure. The bandits’ spoils, kept hidden below less interesting supplies like food, firewood, and folded tents under the platform include 321 sp, 90 gp, a pair of silver earrings worth 150 gp, a wooden music box worth 90 gp, three crates of furs and hides worth 50 gp per crate (likely taken from the trading post), and a polished wooden case of potent greenish herbal liquor. There are still eight bottles with liquor left in them, each worth 20 gp. There is enough food and water to feed each of you and your captive for a week. The gleeful burning of tents and other things of no value only requires a couple of jets of fire. The are soon burning well and putting up considerable smoke. It appears that the bandits usually have at least a small fire going here so the smoke may or may not bring others to the area.

"Oh, what fun that was. Milord, we should leave. Let's make a litter so you can pull our fallen bandit, while the rest of us including our new captive can carry the spoils back. If he behaves, he might get a light sentence instead of me burning him alive." Rhote says the last part without mirth.

"Fine idea brother. If we hurry we may be able to make it back by nightfall. " The Prince collects the coins, jewelry, music box, and bottles of liquor to load onto the back of his mount. After that he cuts down two long trees and fashions them on either side of the saddle. At the other end he bends the ends together until the points join and lashes them to one another. From there he takes some furs and other bits of cloth to fashion support for Pixie. He sets her carefully in place and straps her in securely for the bumpy ride back. To the collection of treasures he adds the bandit leader's axes, knives, and her armor. He collects as many furs as he can and straps them to the prisoners back. He takes as many as he is able and passes the rest around to the others. "Do not overload yourself too much, we may need still to fight before we reach safety. When you are ready, we march." He moves to the front of the party to lead his horse by the reins.

First Post
Despite her immediate interest in the treasures, Kyria quickly scales up one of the archery posts when she sees the fires going up. From there she keeps a lookout for possible reinforcements.

"We're taking too long," she called in warning. "We've got to go. We're in no shape for another big battle."

She lithely drops down the ladder and hurries over to join the Prince as he mounts up.

"Didn't see anyone yet, but it's only a matter of time now. Just had to burn things, eh?" Kyria rolls her eyes.

The litter is prepared, the spoils collected and the camp burned before anyone appears. Soon you are making your way back toward the trading post.

OOC: Will you return exactly as you came?

It is a long and exhausting trip back, but you manage to get to Oleg's without incident. The prisoner stares into the trees, but never makes an attempt to escape. Pixie is pale, but her breathing is steady and she looks to have endured the trip well. Oleg opens the gate as you approach. Two unfamiliar men in armor are with him.
