There are fields and orchards that are unused. Find the poor in and around the city and allow them to work the fields and orchard and let them keep a substantial portion of it in either food or money made from sale of said food. Helps the poor and keeps the house up and running even while we are gone.

A group symbol, even an unofficial one, is a good idea. Let's get some discussion on it going tonight.
Greerson is an unusual place in that you don't have a lot of rich or poor. Those social boundaries are much more subdued than they are in a place like Stormhaven. Obviously, Lord Tannerson is relatively wealthy. But, he doesn't hoard his wealth, he gives an honest pay for an honest day. As well, much of his wealth is tied up in items, not gold coins or the like. Unfortunately, that doesn't help adventurers too much. There is a reason why he always asks you guys if there is anything you need before he sends you off somewhere. Equipment is generally much easier for him to acquire, especially mundane equipment.
