Quick question: does the prohibition on online play affect your playtest?

So is Morrus cool with playtest games of 5E being played on his PBP forums? Is RPGGeek? *This* is how they will enforce it - by going after the websites hosting these games.

Unless those websites have agreed to play policeman for WotC, I don't see how they have a legal leg to stand on. OTOH they could put 'industry pressure' on websites, but that pretty much always backfires these days.

Just a quick reminder. There is nothing saying you cannot use these rules over an online game. All it says is that you cannot participate in the playtesting - thus reporting.

You can play to your hearts content. You just can't take that experience and give it to WOTC.
