After manifesting her mind blade, Phoenix asks everyone to hold still for a moment so they can listen. Since their possible foes are invisible, hearing them might be the only way to detect a trap.
Listen check (1d20+1=12)
If nothing is detected though, she will move forward and begin scaling the dam wall until or unless something else happens.

As the group waits silently and listens for a sign of enemy animal sounds can be heard and then 3 furry animals with squat, powerful bodies can be seen charging the group from atop the dam. They strong forelimbs armed with long claws. They are 2 to 3 feet long and weigh 25 to 35 pounds.

As the furry animals charge Phoenix throws her mindblade with such precision and power only the handle could be seen on impact buried right between its eyes. Lookspring quickly sights his bow on the next and hits it although with a different effect as the beast slows slightly on impact then seems to find renewed strength and keeps up the charge.

You then hear noise from behind. Phoenix and Lookspring each dare a quick glance behind to see one of the sailors on the floor with blood freely flowing from him. Another sailor shouts from behind you Dwarves behind us!You hear the sailors moving behind you, you guess to meet the new threat and see to their comrade.

OOC: I'm assuming here that Badger #1 will come close enough for melee on it's turn...if not, I'll change this post later to do something else.

Phoenix takes a swing at the nearest badger as it comes close (and maybe attacks). The furry creature is quick though and hard to hit...

Attack and Damage (1d20+6=10, 1d6+3=9)

"Lookspring, either help me finish off these badgers, or help the sailors with the dwarves but do something quick!"
