Overhearing the navy officers Macharius turns towards Mordekai and Zander. His voice quite audible "Imperial Navy, you would think they'd have more respect, for those that keep them from the horrors of the warp." With a slight smile on, his face he continues "Perhaps they would like to know what it is like to stare into the warp, maybe that would teach them to hold their tongues?"

There is a look of indignation on the Officer's face as Zander and Mordekai are speaking. When Zander speaks of a Space Hulk the officer speaks up.

"Listen to them talk about blasphemous things in polite company! No respect for Imperial society!"

The Officer stands up quickly as if to say something but when he hears the Navigator's threat he locks eyes with the coal black eyes of Macharius. His eye then wander to the scarf over his forehead.

"The warp? What do...oh dear...uhh my apologies...excuse me..."

The officers removes himself to the table and leaves the dinning room.

OOC: Macharius if you make a threat you have to follow it up with an intimidate roll. Threats have consequence and thus a skill test is needed.

Thraxus takes a bite of whatever passes for fine dining on this space station, wrinkling his nose at the texture. He watches the officers leave the table with disdain painted on his face.

"A fool of an administrator, idiot navy officers, an armed attack on a tram way ... what is next? Orks invade the station?" Thraxus pushes his plate away and pours a drink of whatever is closest. "When does this charade end? I'd rather be reading and pondering our business plans for tomorrow."

Macharius quietly watches the naval officers leave, he then takes a sip of Amasec and twirls the food on his plate. He turns towards Thraxus, and his companions and in a hushed tone says "Hopefully this will be over soon and we can head back to our ship."

Once the Naval officers leave the rest of the table goes back to whatever small talk they were making earlier. The dinner drags on for another hour or so. Most people avoid conversation with the party.

After the dessert course the Administrator excuses himself, citing some pressing business he needs to take care of. He thanks Thraxus for supping with him and wishes him good luck in his ventures.

Once he leaves Jonquin gets up from his spot at the table and sits across from Thraxus.

"Well thanks to your men we at least had a mildly entertaining evening. So what have you decided on my offer?"

"I see no reason why I should turn down your offer. We're all here to make thrones after all." Thraxus dusts off his lap and begins to walk towards the doors with Lonquin. "However, I will be frank and let you know that I have some other business contacts to meet with in the morning. Ergo, I can't commit to prioritizing this mission before any others at this time. If you are content with that, then let us shake on it and move forward with contracts and any other red tape you require to seal this deal."

Presuming Jonquin is amenable, Thraxus shares any relevant business information that Jonquin would require and Thraxus obtains the equivalent from Jonquin (e.g. where offices are located, direction to set up contracts, contact information while in space etc, etc.)

Jonquin extends his hand to shake Thraxus'.

"That is fine, I hope you will be able to attend to sooner rather than later. But it's good to know someone will be working towards finding the planet. I will have one of my men send you all the information you need in the morning."

The page that escorted you in is waiting by the door and directs you to the lift. He takes you down to where the Arbites central command is and Mordekai is reunited with his plasma gun. A different pair of Arbitrators take you back to Thraxus' habcomplex. The flight back is uneventful and the Arbitrators are quiet. A servant emerges from the apartments when he sees the gravcar return. He helps everyone out of the vehicle and the Arbitrators wish everyone a good night. You return to your rooms and go to sleep for the night.

In the morning the party finds that Alfred has prepared them some breakfast down in the kitchen. Bromidus and Dallion are there eating and discussing what to do in the near future. Dallion receives a message over his microbead communicator and stops the conversation.

"It appears there is a package here for your brother. Security has check it and it is clean. He must have made some deals last night. Excellent!"

A security officer brings into the room a Data Slate and a large tube. The tube is adorned with a symbol that Dallion is unfamiliar with.

"I should go wake your brother. He has the meeting with the Tech Priests in a few hours."

"Ah yes, the meeting with the local chapter of the Mechanicus. I'm hoping they will be somewhat more cooperative than those Navy men at the dinner."

Zander pauses a moment to ensure the seal on a connection with a pack of nutrient paste is good. He then continues, talking over a series of wet slurping noises.

"I'd like to bring along Brother Jorald. If we can strike a deal of some sort with the tech priests here we might be able to acquire some useful information about the local sector. Jorald has a cogitator built in that we could use for storing the data before we transfer it somewhere more permanent. The better informed we are, the better our plans will be when the time comes for action."

Mordekai checks his pistols and frowns. "I note that we could also do with some gear before we leave this place. Probably our best bet for equipment and weaponry this side of the Maw. We're lacking a proper support weapon, but I can think we should get sights, photovisors at the very least. "

He grins and pats the pommel of his sword "And I could always make do with a better sword"
