[Savage Species] Advanced Constructs

Do advanced constructs receive additional feats? What if the construct has Int 1?

In particular, if I advanced an Iron Golem, would it receive additional feats?

Savage Species, p4, "Monsters as Characters", Feats:
Every monster receives at least one feat and gains additional feats at the same rate a character does -- one more at 3 HD, another at 6HD, and so forth.

I don't see any restrictions on feat acquisition based on intelligence or creature type.
