The group begins to work together and Taraniel magic brings added force to the Constables. Brae again calls for Meda's aid, asking her to bless his weapon as he moves to rejoin the fray! "You shall not survive this day, fiends!" Alarion shouted in challenge, as he assailed the nearest foe with his longsword! He cuts a couple of serious wounds into his devil.

OOC: Still waiting on an action for Zane if you please DeWar...

Zane fees oddly energized as he stands in the circle of protection. he grits his teeth and aims at the nearest bearded devil hoping for actual effects this time.
Base: [BAB: 5 - one attack only]
Attack/Damage, Bow: 1D20+9 = [17]+9 = 26;1D6+1 = [4]+1 = 5
total attack 29; damage of 7
Adjustments:
present ac: 21 / T: 17 / FF: 17

Attack: 29
Damage: A paltry 5

+1 att, +1 to ac, +1 reflex saves [haste]
+2 to ac, +2 on all saves [magnificent magical circle of protection against evil]
+2 damage [beneficial benevolence of beatific benign beneficial beatitude of Neurotic's character!]

He definitely hit, and it was a good location, but something seemed odd about it as the arrow looked like it was slowly being forced out of the flesh of the devil .. .. .. .. ..

Zane grits his teeth and cuts into a devil. The creatures are not happy about the wounds or the good magic flooding their normally evil domain. With grunts and curses in their infernal language the strike out with the glaives. Despite some impressive looking wielding of pole-arms only Zane and Raul are hit (for 11, and 8 respectively see note on infernal wounds). Blood flows freely from the cuts. OOC: Actions for all please.

The damage a bearded devil deals with its glaive inflicts persistent wounds that cause 2 points of bleed damage. Bleed caused from an infernal wound is particularly difficult to stanch—a DC 17 Heal check stops the damage, and any attempt to heal a creature suffering from an infernal wound must succeed on a DC 16 caster level check or the spell does not function. Success indicates the healing works normally and stops all bleed effects on the victim. The infernal wounds caused by a bearded devil are a supernatural ability of the devil, not of the weapon.[/sblock]

ooc: fixed it.

Zane grunts in pain from the dastardly wound. The devil whom he hit last time was his target this time. He is unaware of the nature of the wound soon though!

Zane's arrow is infused with good to counter the evil of the nature of the devil and it does not get reduced in its effects.

Haste attack:

Attack/Damage, Bow: 1D20+12 = [10]+12 = 22;1D6+3 = [4]+3 = 7
