Spawn of Khyber/LEB Judge
Showdown: Round 8

Lorth snaps a few ribs on the brute, who cries out in pain! [24 wins opposed grapple check; 7hp; moderately wounded] Corran's thrust are less effective this time, and the heavy ignores him. [Fails aid another] With no room to move to safety, Genithar pulls back into the fog. [No safe 5' steps in your corner; I withdrew you instead]

Following up in the rear, barely getting a glimpse of the faster homunculi, Mathew envisions the scene and yells Attack! Luckily, his efforts pay off as he feels a wave of violence from the stone.

Suddenly, out of the fog near Corran and Genithar, a sleek steel form and a wisp of shadow riding it appear! The hound-like creature launches at the brute, but is deflected at the last minute by the magical shield. The wisp attempts to latch on to the brute, but is thrown off!

The two heavies press their attacks. The heavy between the cleric and the rogue boots Balnibar in the stomach and slices the gnome's chest, enough to knock him down! [4 hp; unconscious] The other reaches out to inflict its painful grasp on Lorth, but the fog distorts his aim! [Miss due to fog]

Having enough, the brute elbows Lorth in the face. The distraction is enough to break the shifter's grip! [9 fails opposed grapple check; brute free] He steps back, and with a flash of red from his mark, seems to grow stronger! It is an effect no one has ever seen before! [Still moderately wounded]

OOC: Maps may not be working.

ooc; map totally working now!

Wounded, out of spell casting power, and now with a sword in one hand and the tanglefoot bag in the other, the Wizard seems stymied. Fog swirling around him, Genithar takes a deep breath and with a mumbled prayer to his ancestors, then yells, 'Mathew! Command Fetch to get the Leader's potion! Have Doggie attack!'

Holding for the Homuncculi's charge into the fray, the elf bides his time, looking for the best opening to throw his alchemical bag of goo, but also shouting support to his allies, 'Defend yourselves! We shall triumph!'.

ooc; delay until after Doggie and Fetch go. If Lorth, at that time, is not in melee range with the H closest to G, he'll throw the tanglefoot bag at him. If they still are in melee, he'll go fully defensive with his sword.

Balnibar's down! Take them out quickly, my friends. Corran shouts, as he moves with determination toward the threatening heavy. He leads with his shield, hoping to tie up the enemy's sword, then slashes at anything that is left exposed.
[sblock=ooc] 5' step next to Lorth, then attack with dagger. [/sblock]
