"We'll have some techs get the parts for the fragmentation grenades for you. I'm not sure that we can actually spare some ion grenades."

After the Group Meeting

The general closes the door behind the rest of the group and begins pacing. He looks to Kinneson.

"He defected because he just wanted to fly? I don't know about you, but that doesn't seem to be a realistic reason for a defection. There is something I want you to do on these next few missions. Corporal Kinneson, we order you to keep a close eye on him. His story just doesn't set right with me. If you have beyond a reasonable doubt that he is an Imperial spy, you are ordered to arrest him and bring him before us. Do not kill him unless it is absolutely necessary. I will try and have our agent in Imperial Intelligence do a complete background search on him. It will take a while, as her methods of passing information to us are a little strange..."

"Well not exactly what I expected for the mission but anything to help the effort. You can count us General."

Hit the ground with your face running....

"General, sir, you are echoing my thoughts exactly, but it is the enemy you don't see that is usually the problem. This crew are all pretty green, and I'll be keeping my eyes on ALL of them. I felt most of em out on the way in, but if any of em try and get the drop on the rest of us... well, lets just say I'll detonate the supports under that bridge once it becomes a mission objective."

Kinneson smiles a wry smile, "When do we ship out? And if its not for a while, where is the nearest casino?"

"You will be shipping out tomorrow. And as for a casino... We don't have any around here, but I'm sure that there will be a sabaac game going on tonight in one of the pilot's lounges. Everyone is welcome to join in."

Eyes on the prize...

Caine spends the evening playing Sabaac and drinking. He seems gregarious enough, but he drinks in moderation both so he can focus on the game and keep an eye and ear on his crew mates who happen by.

OOC: Dunno if you want me to make a Profession Gambling check to see if I lose or win any creds.

OOC: Please forgive the spelling, sabacc is the correct spelling of the game.

Sitting at the table are four pilots. Three of the pilots are humen men, while the other pilot is a human female.

The older man welcomes you to the table, and begins introducing the other players.

"Greetings! General Fionst said we might get a new player tonight. I'm Garven Dreis, commander of Red Squadron."

He points to a one of the younger pilots.

"That's Wedge Antilles, probably one of the best X-Wing pilots we have right now."

The other young man speaks up.

"Hello, welcome to the table, I'm Keyan Farlander."

"And the lady is..."

"Ru Murleen. Now can we please get back to the game? After all, right now I have lots of your credits. I want this game to continue to before my winning streak runs out."

Please roll that Profession: Gambling check.

As we go walking out I turn to Garn, "So what where you expecting? How is this mission different from what you hoped for?"
"Well I kinda hoped to get a chance to shoot at something. Do you think we will get that chance?"

Knits his brow, "I do not know. But if we are flying, i doubt you would shoot anything as I will get that pleasure." ends with a huge smile on his face.

"Well Mr. Dreis, you have not seen me fly yet, if you did you may have some serious doubts as to the best x-wing pilot. I am Johnny, Johnny DeGoode....what? ...sorry, I do not have the strength to play sabacc tonight." When I can I try to discuss flying with anyone. Be it tactics or the way a dual engine thrust can sometimes steer a vehicle slightly to the left etc.
