D&D 5E Storm King's Thunder

Neurotic

I plan on living forever. Or die trying.
"Water? It might be safer not to fight, but we will be hampered if giants catch up. And breaking the dam would ensure our getaway, but not our lives. A surge of water can be as dangerous as flash fire in the mill." Ordrar grumbles but follows the rest of the group.

Legend
"Let us drive the pigs up the ramp and out into the sheep pens," suggested Aremus. "It will save them and distract the guards while we either escape out the river, if we can find something that floats, or follow the stampede."

He asked the halfling farmer to help him rile up a stampede of hogs.

Legend
OOC: Aremus will cast Speak with Animals and stand on something tall, and give a speech to the pigs, telling them that if they want to not be eaten, they had better go where we tell them to, ending with "To FREEDOM!" and waving them on. Charisma Check [roll0]

Aremus: The legion of pork don't really understand the concept of freedom, but they damn sure don't want to be eaten. A pink tidal wave barges out of the cave, knocking over or scattering many a surprised Orc. The party can stay and fight if they wish, but they also have a clear chance here to escape into the hills before the enemy regroups.

Moog's Better Half: The smelly hill giant is still happily following the group. Suddenly, shock washes over the creatures face and it reaches into the oversized loincloth. After exploring for a moment, the giant would soon pull out a sea conch (much larger than any you have ever seen) with a strange rune on it. "Chief said this important and I must guard," he explained. "I go give back to her?"

Legend
"No, no my big friend." Aremus told the giant, "You can entrust (uh, that means 'give') it to us... But keep carrying it for now."

Aremus paused in his flight to open a sheep pen and to add some of them to his escaping menagerie. He would have gone back for more but he caught Ordrar's eye and the dwarf's stern face told him not to. Instead he nodded and ran, driving sheep and pigs before him.

Fistan, his pyromancy sated for now, looks at what the giant pulls out. "If you are supposed to keep it safe, best to get it out of this burning building." Fistan suggests helpfully.

OOC: Arcana check : 1D20+7 = [6]+7 = 13
Arcana to recognise any significance of the shell. Then helping Aremus with a possible persuasion check

Round 0

Dren followed the others out of the cave after the pigs. He glanced at the hill giant with them as he pulled out the conch shell and looked over at Fistan and Aeremus, speaking quietly, “Lad, are ye sure ye want t’ touch tha’ thing, considerin’ where it’s been?” He gestured down to his crotch and eyed the disgusting giant.
