Super dwarves and giants...

I'm sure I"m just not familiar with some tricks the Ettin could pull. As it is, I believe he's +4 with the Greatclub. In other words, he only hits Eberk with a 20!

I'm the DM. What can this Ettin do to stop this pesky dwarf?

Grapple him. A touch attack is much easier to hit, then the size bonus for grappling on the opposed grapple checks yields one dead dwarf.

How does a first level anything aford full plate?

Ok, ok, 4th lvl dwarven fighter
+1 Full-plate--------> 2600gp
Tower shield--------> 30gp
+1 waraxe----------> 2330gp
Dodge, Expertise, Weapon focus (waraxe), Weapon specialisation (waraxe), +(feat)

Now, I know he's alredy 4th level, but, you won't say you don't like an ettin trying to hit an AC 29(plus any use of expertise), and being hit every once in a while (6 +Str) for some nice damage (1d10 + 3 + Str(yeha, I know he's got 65 hp)) by the archeotype of the dwarf.
