The church loaned the banner to the First Mendevian Crusade and allowed it to hang in Drezen, where it bolstered crusader morale and, perhaps more importantly, warded against demonic attacks, deceptions, and even teleportation. It was lost in the fall of Drezen and is widely believed to be held in a vault under Drezen.[/sblock]

Meliara shook her head and held in her giggles while sliding the basket of biscuits to her Banaq.

A bit of biscuit bonked off Banq's forehead and skittered across his plate.

"It's the artifact," Thorn said, breaking another piece of biscuit off for herself. "We don't have to take the whole city all at once. We punch through to the vault and fortify, get the artifact and use it. It'll force all the demons out, leaving their forces crippled and easy to take care of."

Lia cleared her throat. "Do we have any idea where this vault might be? It would be helpful if we didn't have to lug this party all over looking for it. As a group, stealthy we are not."

Meliara shook her head and held in her giggles while sliding the basket of biscuits to her Banaq.

Sir Sheldon looks to her with a guilty and hurt expression, then reasserts his military bearing in front of the queen.

The queen merely smiles at Banaq's request and obvious boldness in her presence then gives an accepting nod to Thorn "It has been a pleasure speaking with you all. All you need to know will be revealed to you soon and that which you do not know can surely be overcome if lomedae has indeed blessed you as it seems."

The queen is soon on her feet and waiting to issue you to meet the army.

Realizing belatedly that there's more expected of her, Thorn finishes up and gets to her feet. She doesn't say anything, but she's ready to go and do this meeting thing. They still need to go look up Minago, and she wants to see some maps, but that can wait until their business with the Queen is at an end. Besides, the army probably HAS those maps so...win win.

Sir Sheldon stands immediately when he is expected to. He remains at attention the whole time.

Sir Sheldon looks to her with a guilty and hurt expression, then reasserts his military bearing in front of the queen.

Lia laughs lightly while shaking her head. "Sir Sheldon, do not take my words personally. We have more than one oaf on this team!" She stands and politely waits by the Queen's side. "After you, your majesty."

'Keva stands with the Queen - and the others - as she rises, wiping his mouth delicately as he does so. He has little to say at this point, so he keeps his trap shut and follows the Queen when she exits.

As Everyone stands and begins to line up behind the queen to follow her. She turns and smiles, "Thank you for agreeing to take on this mission. Your past successes and triumphs have not gone unnoticed and to that end, all please take a knee." Once all are down, she continues with sword raised, "I dub you Knights of the Fifth Crusade." She makes her way to each of you tapping you on both shoulders with the sword and asking you to rise. As you rise, she places two medals on you (one on each breast) "For recovering vital information of great use against the Worldwound and delivering this intelligence to me, I award each of you 'The Righteous Medal of Clarity." (The medal grants +2 sacred bonuses on saves against insanity or confusion effects.)

Since we kinda skipped the first part of the adventure, your gracious GMs will allow you to choose which second medal you'd like from the list providing, you write something relevant into your histories. OOC: So do you want us to write up a story as to how we've earned the other medal? Or just a little blurb into our history? And I am assuming that story was supposed to have happened while we together as a group playing out that last adventure? [\ooc]
