In 3.0, most synergy combinations have a special note stating that they do stack.

eg: "If the character has 5 or more ranks in Bluff or Sense Motive, the character gets a +2 synergy bonus on Diplomacy checks. These bonuses stack."

In 3.5, there are no +2 synergy bonuses; rather, there is synergy, which provides a +2 (unnamed) bonus. Therefore, again, they generally will stack.

So yes, with +5 in Knowledge (Nobility and Royalty), Bluff, and Sense Motive, you can get a +6 bonus to your Diplomacy skill. :)

Mix in half-elf [3.5], shake well with bard or rogue class and talk yourself out of almost any situation.

And the reason that the 3.5 revision includes all of the +2 bonus efats was because it was "bad" that you could stack a bunch of skill bonus feats and increase your skill checks too high. So they put in a bunch of skill bonus feats to "cut off" making more and allowing this sort of thing to happen. But then they added a half dozen synerges that do just that.

Umm, yeah. They thought this through.
