Clear of the gargoyle that was attacking him now, Errol sheathed his rapier again and brought up his crossbow into two hands again. “You got this!” he assured Duran the bear before dashing across the battlefield to get a clear shot at Hellenrae to try and help JV and Sir Jondal.

Wincing as he saw JV and the knight getting pounded by Hellenrae, Ilvellios tried to focus on the remaining gargoyle, hoping that with the faerie fire still affecting it, he might finally be able to finish it off and rejoin the front line.

Having done his best to finish off the gargoyle, Ilvellios ran back towards the front line, hoping to discourage Hellenrae by surrounding her.

Duran takes a defensive stance, while Naraih and Illvillious blast the monster with fey and radiant energy. JV disengages from Hellenrae's attacks, retreating back next to Nariah, he sends a blast of eldritch energy flashing towards her but it goes wide. Errol moves to get a clear shot and block Heleenrae's chance to escape, loosing a bolt that pieces the abbess shoulder deeply. Jondal is still stunned from Hellenrae's blow, and she uses the opportunity to retreat. She rushes at Errol but at the last minute leaps to her right over the statue in the garden, before continuing her flight past Errol and back into the monastery.
