"Good idea, Ilvellios, let me join you." Nariah follows Ilvellios over to the shepherds. To the shepherds, she says "Would you happen to know of a good place for some weary travelers to get some rest?"

Desairn Valley, Day 6 Morning

As some of the party reconcile their differences Illvilious and Nariah approach the farmers. As you approach they have a resigned look on their face "Just take same and go." they say. When asked about a good place to rest they look a little confused. "y-yer not 'ere to take so' sheep?

as it becomes clear the party isn't there to steal sheep, they warm to you. Offering you some ale and other meagre victuals. They have a simple shelter in nearby. It offers protection from wind and rain and a pallet to keep you off the floor, but little else.

They open up to conversation, but mostly complain about bandits steeling their sheep, and the lack of game brought about the concentration of bandits of late.

Ilvellios is weary, but volunteers to take first watch. He especially keeps an eye out for pursuers coming from the direction of the secret way to the keep.

“I will keep watch with you,” Errol told Ilvellios, thinking it might be wise to keep distance from the old druid for now. He cupped a bowl of strong tea in his hand that the shepherds provided for staying awake, and one of the sheepdogs came to curl up at his feet, under his hand as he stroked the soft fur, keeping watch on the sheep in the pen.

Red Larch, Day 6 Evening

The group spends the morning resting with the shepherds, who are friendly and accommodating. They are very chatty, asking on news from the region and sharing stories, some of which seem improbable. One that catches your attention is about a huge boar who roams the hills at night hunting, not just game but people as well - if you had not just fought a wereboar your would say this was a story to stop young boys staying out late. It proves hard to get any sleep while they talk but the break proves restful.

The trip back to red larch is uneventful and gets you into the town just as it's getting dark. Things in Red Larch seem to be picking up a little, the old town elders are still in stocks, but many of the businesses seem to have opened again as the staff take over for now. Harbuk is still notionally in charge but Jalessa, his wife, seems to be coping better with the politics of town leadership. Many of the townsfolk seem to defer to her.

GM: I'm going to award inspiration for each of you for thinking beyond the group in regards to reporting what you have found so far.

Nariah checks out the town for her Harpers contact to impart some info. She asks for the rest of you to come with her as she is hazy on some of the details before she rejoined the main group.

Day 6/Evening
Round 0

Errol stopped by the stocks again, making sure the town elders were being taken care of, giving them water. Then he returned to the tailor shop, nodding to the tailor and idly examining the cloth until he was finished with his customer and the store was empty again. Then he made his report about the cultists at Feathergale Tower and Riverguard Keep and the slaying of their wereboar leader. He mentioned the cultists at the monastery as well, and another group of fire cultists somewhere in the hills.

“I found my mark, Savra Belabranta. She wants out, but she is afraid to leave Feathergale until the cultists are dealt with,” he admitted. “She fears their reach extends even to Waterdeep, so she will be staying with them for now. I would like to get her out., but am uncertain how. We were sent to prove ourselves by striking out at the earth cultists at the monastery.”
