Tavern - City of Orussus, The Red Dragon Inn '08

Dane looks around a moment, just to get a sense of who was nearby and then sat at the table, looking at his new found employer squarely. He motioned to a waitress for another ale. If I am to sit a short while, I might as well be comfortable. Can't join the Trade company till the morn regardless.

"I am of Ignussus where there is much call for newly forged weapons." Dane said, wondering if he perhaps revealed too much, too soon. The city might grant my skills some credit however. "It was my first profession, and cause for my name." Dane added, alluding to his other job of cleric.

Weel Naxel, human cleric

Through the doors strides a fresh-faced, broad shouldered young man. His gear still seems fairly new. He walks up to the bar, starts to order, then finds himself struck by something, and turns around, smiling.

"Phyrah, but I nearly forgot. My name's Weel Naxel. Just came back from the oddest first outing. At least, I think it was odd, but since it was my first outing, it may be all adventures go like that... In any case, I'm back. Anything interesting going on around the Inn?"

The door opens again, and a slight elvish figure enters, frowning distractedly at nobody in particular. His footsteps as he follows Weel to the bar are light, but even so he manages to give the impression of walking heavily.

He orders a drink, remembers protocol at the last minute, and turns around. "Hello all - I'm Reis Moinnael, ranger and sometime blacksmith." His words are curt, but not unfriendly, and he gives a nod to Weel at the bar as he walks off to find a seat.

Dane points to the note stuck to the wall when Weel addresses the inn, interrupting his own conversation slightly.

"Trade Company Job, starts tomorrow. Possibilities of acquired things" and turns back to his companion.

"Well, Weel Naxel, I am Karl Rutherford. I too had a rather first adventure that turned out to be odd, so I am inclined to say that You might be right..

There has not been much going on here except a round of a dice game and the job offered by the trading company."

Weel Naxel, human cleric

Weel smiles wide, but barely has time to open his mouth, much less utter a hello, before the elf has walked away. He closes his mouth, clearly confused, then shrugs and grabs his drink.

"Trade Company Job, starts tomorrow. Possibilities of acquired things" and turns back to his companion.

The priest's face lights up again at the announcement, and he carelessly spills some of his drink as it sloshes in his rush to the board to read the announcement.

"Work already? How fatuous!" he says, then frowns. "No, not ... fortuitious! Yes, that one!" he amends, then reads the sign.

"So, who else is going to this meeting tomorrow morning?' he queries the room. "And who knows where this Detrimental ... " he checks the sign again ... "That is, Detirman Company?"

"So, who else is going to this meeting tomorrow morning? And who knows where this Detrimental ... That is, Detirman Company?"

Viktor raised a hand briefly.

"I intend to go. A chance for an adventure is not something I'm going to let pass me by..." The eager youth replied, wondering how many others intended to join.

[sblock=ooc]As there are too many of us for this adventure, see discussion thread, I'm not going to continue in character until we find out who Holy Man is going to take on.

Didn't want anyone to think they were being ignored.[/sblock]

HolyMan

[sblock=To All] Yes it is true there are a lot more 1st and 2nd lvl characters present now since when I first pitched my ideal so if you guys could decide on a group of 5 PC's max who would like to play, either through roleplaying or just say like Theroc's character that you are going in the morning. I am already thinking on another low lvl adventure an escorting of pilgrims through a dark forest to reach a feastival on time. "The Dark Shortcut" and will see if I can run both or at least RP the one in the RDI while I run the first. Sorry about the delay also there's alot more to a LEW adventure than I thought trying to figure out the world and all. [/sblock]

[sblock=Party] So far Theroc has a spot, so there are 4 left make sure to try and fill most of the roles neccesary, for your group [/sblock]

[sblock=OOC]I can keep Weel out if another cleric wants the spot. He's the last one into the Inn after all, so it's only fair that someone who's been stuck here without an adventure for longer take it. I think I saw Walking Dad's character express interest. I'll hold off, then, before posting anything further from Weel. It's pretty easy either way (staying or going) to make that work motivationally.[/sblock]
