Yeah, I feel like the gee whiz cinematography and immersive world building is lost on my home TV ... so all that's left is a fairly standard plot and archetypal characters that are ... fine. I watched A2 and found I couldn't visually tell the brothers apart, found myself getting very uninterested in the kids in general and not getting anything of interest from the parents because they have no arc really. About the second time Kiri was underwater staring agog at the CGI waterlife around her I lost interest.
