Dupont takes you to the University District , next stop? Epsilon and Serena's Headquarters. Dupont produces a cardkey for the heroes to use to access the headquarters. He waives you on ahead and tells you that he will be waiting for you in the Parking Lot.

OOC: Sense Motive Rolls please.

The Headquarters is situated on the twelfth (top) floor of the
Faculty of Engineering Building at Iridium University, about two
hundred and forty feet away from the Gibbons Lecture Threatre. Exterior
walls, floor and ceiling are of six inch thick steel-reinforced
concrete, windows are 7 inch bulletproof
glass. Interior walls are one inch thick reinforced
hardwood.

E. Elevator: Elevator doors are one inch thick titanium steel.
The shaft is six inch steel-reinforced concrete.
Taking the elevator to the twelfth floor requires
a special key. The doors remain open for ten phases: The doorframe of the elevator contains a metal detector which
may be activated at the main control panel.
L. Library: Contains four comfortable chairs, a computer,
a computerphone and a police radio, a bookcase of advanced
computer manuals and magazines,
a video and television, and a chess table.
The window nearest the kitchen opens in as an emergency
exit/entrance. The main control panel, beside the computer, may activate
or deactivate the metal detector, the pressure alarms in the window,
and the infra-red detectors inside the other rooms. It can also
override the elevator controls. The metal detector will be off and
the other alarms are on, and the panel is locked. If any of the
alarms are tripped, a siren will sound in the headquarters, and, if
not deactivated in ten phases, in the police station and on Epsilon's
and Serena's emergency communicators.
K. Kitchen: Contains a small fridge, tea and coffee-making facilities,
a sink, and a small microwave.

Bront

The man with the probe
Gun Monkey senses nothing out of the ordinary.

Gun Monkey is immediately drawn to the library, and begins searching around for anything useful. "Anyone good with computers?" he asks. 'I realy need to learn to use those things.'

He'll examine the alarm system, as well as any other mechanical or electronic devices.

Handsome cheerily nods to Dupont and wanders on inside. He looks around at the headquarters, running a finger along with wall.

"Nice place."

He follows Gun Monkey into the library for a second, and grins widely at the posed question. He sits down at the computer and cracks a few dozen knuckles in front of him quickly before placing his hands on the keyboard.

"Am I good with computers? Heh! . . . No, not really."

Laughing to himself, he gets up again, leaving the computer to someone who actually knows how to use it. He sidles off to a random doorway (I) and after being thwarted by the lock, slips some tools out of his jacket and, looking over his shoulder instinctively, tries to open the door anyways.

(OOC: Sierra only has +1 Sense Motive--since she can just read minds, she never bothered to practise. Does reading his mind produce anything interesting?)

Titan pokes around, trying to see where the explosion occured and whether any fragments of the bomb might be in place where Sierra could use her post-cog abilities. When he gets to Epsilon's room and sees the signed photos and portrait he thinks,This is interesting. Wonder if any of these guys have the abilities to carry out the attacks? He scribbles their names in a small notebook he carries, intending to find out more about them.

OOC:
Search headquarters (1d20+8=12)

Sense Motive (1d20+8=13)

RA-Any chance of updating Ionian Dreams?

*Sierra communes with the oneiroi who dream of this place's past, as before. She decides that she is getting a bit bored of repeating this over and over again--some fun at the Convention after this should be just the ticket! Perhaps it will be worth it if she can solve the mystery, she supposes.*

I will move this along. My home PC crashed, along with it was the PDF of the adventure. :(

BUT I will prevail and who knows maybe I can retrieve some files from my harddrive.
