Haruka sighs. "So, it falls to me then? Very well." She levels her rod at the guard, and another lance blasts out, piercing the man's chest. The cultist staggers but, to Haruka's disappointment, doesn't fall. "If you doubt your capabilities, Ashir, perhaps you could at least hold that door closed," she jerks her head towards the eastern door. "And you sir," she addresses Patrin, "should perhaps take this moment to clear your mind."

[sblock=Actions]Standard: Eldritch Blast the Elite Trooper. That's a crit. He takes 15 + 8 + 1 (boo) = 24 damage.
Move: Move to current location, retain concealment.
Minor: Draw potion for future use.

Preset Immediate Reaction: If the trooper hits me with a melee attack, I want to use my Deathcut Armor's power do deal 1d10+2 necrotic damage to him.

I believe that on future turns, ren could move adjacent to the door and ready an action to close it as soon as it is opened, preventing the evil wizard from gaining LoS to us. It's hijinks. Although, the trooper is almost dead. You could try your luck...

The 5 I was referring to, was the guard. It was the only source of damage I could find. I assumed I had misread something and he hit me.[/sblock]

Sheng moves out, places himself behind Raiko, and as sapping stones, the monk sends small globes of acid above the paladin's shoulder towards the hawk. They impact on the bird, eating feather skin and bone.
Raiko can hear the monk hissing the words of the enchantment, like a viper singing to its prey.

As the cultist hacks at the shadows surrounding Haruka, they peel off the warlock and slither up his sword and onto his skin. Where they touch, ugly welts grow and spread. Haruka calmly looks at the horrified guard.

"A lesson, perhaps, to the value of prudence? In the future, you will refrain from such actions, I imagine." She makes a cutting gesture with her hand, and the guard falls to the ground, the shadows melting into the floor. "Yes, I imagine you will."

She then looks at the potion her hand, shrugs, and raises it in a toast to her companions. "Attempts on my life aside, I am having a very enjoyable time." She giggles slightly and drinks the potion.

[sblock=Actions]Immediate Reaction: The trooper hit me, so he gets to take 1d10+2 necrotic damage, which turns out to be 6. You have to be kidding me. Still alive, at 1 hp. Good use of a Daily item power.

Move: Shift to current location, lose concealment.
Standard: Eyes of the Vestige the trooper. Hits Will 25 for damage. He dies, I gain 6 thp.
Minor: Oh, why not. Drink the healing potion, spend a surge, gain 10 hp. No longer dangerously close to bloodied.[/sblock]
