Taranost is the elvish word for it in my campaign (meaning, literally, "Dark Place"), but most people who know of it refer to it as the Great Below. I got that from a Nine Inch Nails song.

I think Jason Zavoda is the first person I've seen use UnderOerth.

Eberron calls it "Khyber" or "the Dragon Below", named after one of the progenitor dragons who spawned fiends and other beings of evil from it and was banished to the world below.

Funny, this is straight from Slavic mythology.

Underworld might have other connotations, but it is the only mythologicaly correct name.
