I'm running a Black Company d20 game so it goes like this:

Abel Nightroad, Academician 2/Weapon Master 1 -- Using a longspear, at the moment, usually capped to resemble a quarterstaff.

Bianca Ruby, Wizard 3 -- She's usin' a metal gauntlet that also serves a cosmetic purpose in that it hides her disfigured right hand.

Alley Way, Thief 2 -- Just a dagger.

Pierce, Fighter 2 -- Well, actually, he's deceased as of this session but he WAS using a longsword and dagger. :D

Whee. They're all humans, as per Black Company's novel setting.

I DM so let me see if I can remember them correctly:

Ras Brokenclaw - Male Human Rogue 3/Fighter 3/Cleric 4/Dragonslayer 3, Spiked Chain
Mother Superior Arythwarya Durthwenn - Female Half Elf Cleric 13 of Wee Jas, Scythe
(I've switched the chosen weapons for Nerull and Wee Jas in my campaign world)
Jaffer Morgan - Male Human Cleric 1 of Bahamut/Sorceror 12, Short Spear
Krom - Male Half Orc Barbarian 1/ Ranger 11/Template of the Smoking Eye, Orc Double Axe
Barrak Splintershield - Male Dwarf Fighter 13, Great Axe
Oaen Headbaer - Male Gnome Bard 8/ Seeker of the Song 5, Vocal Cords
(I think he has a rapier but he's never used it)

I'm a little iffy on the level breakdown on Ras and Oaen but I think i'm within a level or two. There used to be:

Idori - Female Human Rogue 5/Assassin 7, Rapier

But that was my Ex and she has chosen not to play any longer. Fortunately she won't be missed. :)

Grey Elf Metacreationist 9 - The dude playing this character likes the idea of psionics it seems, though I've found that he still think sin 3.0 a bit too much on things. Thorugh the process of double-checking his stuff, I find I do like psionics when its not played wrong a lot:) General complacent, helpful fella, not sure the character's goals. Since we don't have any real arcane power in the group, he's served well as the blaster about. And his Save or Dies are coming up now, so that's been rather helpful.

Half-Dragon Monk/Favoured Soul - Total leevel is 8th righ tnow, don't know how she's divied up the character too much. Neat monster-hunting do-gooder sort. Kicks much ass.

Human Rogue 8 - A rather friendly and helpful character, now selfish and greedy due to mishap with Deck of Many Things. Uses a gun too, which has been neat flavorwise.

Human Soulknife 8 - He's actually now our main frontliner. His damage output with the Psionic feats has been pretty impressive.

Human Druidic Avenger 8 - This is what I'm playing right now. She came in as a replacement to my Hexblade, who while fun, was built pretty poorly for what I thougth would be happening, and wasn't being that fun to play, so I swapped him with this crazy dane. Since we have not had much in encounters, don't know how she'll work, but fun flavorful character so far atleast:)

Something interesting about our group I think is the lack overall of multi-classing save for the half-dragon. Simallerly, save for her, not many people seem to have plans for a PrC. Might change in the future, but interesting nonetheless.

Ummm, and stuff.

Thanks!

Thanks everyone, I always find these posts to be full of PC/NPC ideas I hadn't thought - even if they are simple...plus different weapon/combat options that you don't see all the time...

...anymore posters? come-on, you know you want to... ;)

In our recently started Waterdeep campaign, we have:

Gold Dwarf Fighter 1 /Incarnate 1, who wields a Battle Axe
Deep Imuskari Human Mage 2, who so far has only used a glass bottle as a weapon.
Human Rogue 1/Swashbuckler 1, who uses a Rapier and Main Gauche.
Human Urban Druid, Rapier
Halfling Rogue 1, who was just sent to prison for the assasination of a city worker, so I don't know what the players next character will be.
