WotC Delegates: experiences?

Just curious if there are any WotC delegates on these boards. If so, what has your experience been like? Are the perks worth the time and energy put into it?

I've been a delegate since January 2005, and I've enjoyed it very much. It's a great way to meet new people, some of who end up as new gaming buddies, and WOTC is incredibly generous with the swag. Being a Delegate does take a moderate investment of time and energy, but nothing too extreme is required; I'm very busy with two jobs and school, and I still manage to do enough to stay on active status and usually a bit more every month. It's loads of fun.
