(YBA) Diaochan alone in Wicht's Lair

[Wicht]

Directly west of the Bizzare, Diaochan sees that there is nothing. The arena is actually a bit to the north and only slightly west of the Bizzare. There is a gate out of the Bizzare and a small but well traveled path that leads to the arena.

Diaochan is curious how people get in and out of the city (besides the sewers). She decides to abandon her plan to go to the arena and heads back to south cross street...

 

[Wicht]

Weaving her way skillfully among the many people, Diaochan eventually makes her way back to South Cross Street. There she see's one group of men in particular that stand out. They look like thugs, like the rest, but unlike many others, they also seem to be gawking at everything as if new to the place. Looking around, Diaochan sees that actually there are several small groups of men on the street who act as if they are in an unknown environment, though none of them as obvious as the first group that attracted her attention.

Diaochan approaches the first group...

[Wicht]

The men stare at Diaochan suspiciously.

"Just looking for the arena," says one of them guardedly.

Diaochan directs the men towards the arena and tries to find more exits from the city besides the sewers...

 

[Wicht]

A bit of investigation allows Diaochan to discover that most of the newcomers to the city came down through stairs located in the Northeast Pillar. Rumor has it that there are stairs in each of the four pillars holding up the cavernous cieling. The Southwest Pillar however is guarded by demons, the Northwest Pillar lies across a bit of dangerous ground, and the Southeast pillar contains no visible door.

The Northeast Pillar's door opens out onto East Cross Street. The door to the Pillar is seeing a lot of use, Diaochan, upon traveling there, sees. But two red robed guards are only allowing people to leave the pillar as newcomers continue to show up on a fairly regular basis. But no one is being allowed in.

Diaochan approaches one of the newcomers and inquires about what lies beyond the Northeast pillar...

 

[Wicht]

The man Diaochan stops, looks at her funny and says, "The cemetery of course! Same as when you came in!"

Having gained a better sense of the city, Diaochan travels to a store to find two objects. The first is strong perfume. The second is some sort of substance that causes pain and inflamation in the nostrils when inhaled. This accomplished, she heads back down the sewer to make her way to the werewolves...
