The coolest thing is they said it won't be isometric view. I'm really curious to see what they will be using Then, it's not Baldur's Gate for me. Beautifully painted backgrounds and the from-above view is essential for me to call it BG. I'd be okay with something like the Divinity series, but if it's something more like NWN, then, it's not BG in my eyes and my interest will drop a lot. Also, really, people nowadays are so squemish about stuff like the intro? I'm just being incredolous. I don't want to be condescending and it's not like I'm a jaded old gramp (I'm 30) but really, don't you ever seen horror movies, or played any video games with horror elements? I'm just baffled.

I usually don't bother replying to anything you say. You've never once accepted that another viewpoint could exist, much less changed your mind as a result of a single criticism or adopted a single feature request as necessary at any point. I'm glad you chose to respond. Though I certainly don't agree that I have not accepted any of your viewpoints and I know I have certainly changed my mind more than once on this board, even when discussing FG. I would ask if you have not already made up your mind in regards to what I might say and therefore don't actually consider what I do say. Case in point, not a single point I raised was even acknowledged, everything I said was absolutely 100% (or 99% lol citation please) incorrect, and I am alone in my opinion that improvements can and should be made. Except I agreed that creating highly automated rulesets is daunting and time consuming. I just disagree as to the reason why. I also think I acknowledged your points by responding to them with my perspec...

Wow they hit 350k I can't believe it I thought they would hit 350k, but I'm pretty confident they won't hit 400k. Looking forward to seeing more of their demo videos. It will be a fun 6 months.

Oh wow they hit 300k now Yea, and with all the new tiers they have opened up I think they will hit the $350k unlock as well. I doubt the $400k one though. 14 more days and we shall see :)

Check this out then. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk Thanks, Mageman! I have been having a heck of a time on Fantasy Grounds. When I checked it looked dead. Haven't been on FG since Pathfinder Society 3 or 4 years ago.

DnD is all versions. DnDnext is 5e. DnD as a whole is doing amazing. A hit tv show only has a few million people watching it. Have that many subs is a great accomplishment. We've got 203,000 just on this forum, and I agree that it is quite an accomplishment to have so many communities out there. No other tabletop RPG has multiple communities of this scale.

Tell that to the 160 000 subscribers to the DnD subreddit it's not dead at all. I'm one of those, and I don't play 5E. Also, I wouldn't consider 160.000 an impressive number for D&D. But there's a reason why I say I don't use my anedoctal experience as proof. I know it's not reflecting the actual situation.
