They may be drzizt-fandomland stuff, but they're damn pretty. If I hacked into Bill Gates' bank account, I would buy them. And the Monty Python stuff they've got, too. Too bad they don't sell the Trojan Rabbit -- or at least, I haven't seen it.

I always thought "Twinkle" was kind of a... wimpy name for a sword. Especially when the other one gets an intimidating name like "Icingdeath."

Maybe it's just me.

I'm not a big drow ranger fan (never having actually read any of the stories/books - so don't think I'm casting aspersions), but...

Icingdeath is an intimidating name? Sounds like the implement of a mad baker who's fed up with his career to me.

I've never read the Drzzt stories, so I'm only going on what has been said in this thread. How can this be:

...if the swords in the books are not so? Why would Salvatore and Lockwood okay these blades if they don't actually replicate their descriptions/illustrations? I mean, the blades aren't even scimitars.

If I won the lottery and had tons of cash to throw around, I'd have a room full of replicas of fictional weapons. I would include Drzzt's blades in that collection, even though I'm not a fan*. But I wouldn't collect swords that were "replicas" by name only, especially when there are apparently useful descriptions/illustrations of the items from which to make an accurate replica.

* "not a fan" does not mean "I dislike".
