Hi, i have a a little question about dire radiance, the text says:

"If the target moves nearer to you on it´s next turn, it takes an extra 1d6+con modifier damage."

But what happen if nobody moves, or the warlock moves near his target again, the enemy takes 1d6+con dmg too?

Thx a lot!

If nobody moves, the target does not take extra damage.

If the Warlock moves closer to the target and we were accepting relativity into RAW, then sure. But we're not, so the target takes no damage.

Yes, note that the target must move closer on its own turn. Usually(but not always) that means of its own volition, so the warlock is not able to force it to take the damage by moving closer to it.

Probably, but there are always methods ..
Shield push is an obvious one, but you can also ready actions to force movement (if you have some idea of what to ready in response to) .. since readied actions are immediate reactions, it's still your target's turn.

The target hasn't moved closer if it hasn't moved, or if the warlock moves. The target, in fact, hasn't moved at all, and therefore doesn't trigger that effect.

Dire Radiance Type Damage?

I have a totally different question about Dire Radiance.

The first type of damage is Radiant damage, which would leave me to believe that the secondary damage should also be Radiant. It is not printed as such and there is not errata for it.

Beyond asking other's opinions if it should/shouldn't be radiant damage I'd love to know if anyone has seen a printing of it to that effect.
