Like I've been saying I am a die hard 3E fan and while I do have the books on my computer (heard a rumor that the actual books are already in

bad shape) I haven't really looked at everything so before I begin to play I

want to know what are the pros and cons please tell me some

Are you really posting and saying that you have the illegal pdfs on your computer and haven't actually purchased the 4e books?

theree are errors in downloads that aren't in books.

that said, 4th certainly has differences in style. If you thought non-casters in 3rd were poorly done and liked Book of Nine Swords, you might like 4th. Its a lot easier to DM than 3rd, at least.

First off, stop mentioning that you're using the illegally leaked PDFs. You'll just get the thread locked like the last one.

Secondly, the PDFs aren't accurate. The Monster Manual, especially, is full of heinous errors that aren't in the final version.

Thirdly, my books are doing just fine, and I've been using them constantly since the day I got them.

Ok, LISTEN UP:

We here at ENW do NOT condone the illegal downloading of PDF's. That doesn't mean that the slightest mention of it gets somebody banned or a thread locked. But when you start off the thread based on the fact that you have illegally downloaded the PDF's then you're probably going to get called on it and pretty soon we've got a war going on between those who think there's nothing wrong with it and those that do. We'd like to avoid that. THREAD CLOSED.

Furthermore I JUST closed another such thread started by the same poster. arcanaman, if you'd like to get banned from this place, feel free to start a third. If your goal is to truly assess the various merits and flaws of 4e then browse around. You can't swing a dead cat around here without hitting dozens of such opinions.
