Weapons of our foes

Thanks to my 7 year old cousin, I had to create the statistics for a few weapons he borrowed from some dead azers. He wouldn't accept a scourge is just a flail. So we all had to create and balance some of the weapons of our enemies. So I'm sharing my finding.

Trident
1d8 damage
two handed military melee weapon
+3 proficiency spear
heavy thrown 3/6

Based on the sahaugin and a devil. You sacrifice the longspear's damage and reach for throwing and accuracy.

Scourge
1d6 damage
one handed military melee weapon
+3 proficiency flail

Based on the azer. a weaker but more accurate flail for smaller adventurers.

Spiked gauntlets
1d6 damage
one handed superior melee weapon
+3 proficiency light blade and mace
Off hand

Based on the azer. Like a katar but less dangerous.

Blowgun
1d4 damage
one handed simple ranged weapon
+3 proficiency light blade
Load minor 5/10

Based on the banshrae (mostly the warrior) and lizardfolk. A simple sniper weapon for delivering poision and performng special shots. Accurate but without poison it's only deadly in the hands of specialists.

The one thing that comes to mind immediately is that the only non-superior weapons with +3 prof. are swords and daggers. Not that that should be an ironclad rule.

ETA: Also, why is a blowgun a light blade?

because it's not a crossbow.

honestly blow guns don't really fit any category. Light blade is the best fit metagame aside, the metagame reason just cinches it.

that was my reasoning.

as for the trident, the 2 creatures with it has it as 1d8 thrown 3/6 for medium and 2d4 reach 2 thrown 3/6 for large. but 1d10 +2 prof could work.
