Her dad's being held in a place called Tyrinor on another continent, but that may well be her home city--where she was forced to flee from the Thieves' Guild.

what it definitely is

It is in SOD is the place where Eugene and Right Eye meet. Apparently Xykon had an Island base offshore. And Eugene chose not to go after Xykon.

Also, apparently Haley and Celia have officially been snipping at each other. Its meant to be written that way.

Never split the party. Again.

Yes. This whole time they've been split since the end of the battle, the strips have gone down a notch, and I've just wanted the party to reunite and move on. *Sigh*

Oh well, if Haley has to singlehandedly rescue Celia and Belkar, she won't be able to do it with force, so maybe we'll finally see her in her old fast-talking rogue-ish glory that she hasn't had since the first third of the strip. Coincidentally, back then she was my favorite character, as opposed to my current assessment...

Can we please have one discussion about the comic that is actually about what IS happening instead of what ISN'T? Just once?

Never! :-P

it's part of an ongoing story and "plan" on Rich's part, so I don't see why this is a problem. In any case, I did comment on this particular strip, at least guessing at what happens next.

Yeah, sorry. I just feel like every strip that comes out, the discussion devolves into strong opinions on getting the band back together. Which is a valid discussion, the first 20 times. But after a while, it starts to drag down any OTHER discussion of the strip, so that all anyone talks about is the fact that the party is split up. And that makes it a lot less fun to talk about.

I just wish we could start these threads with the disclaimer: "Yes, we would all like the party to get back together and for Roy to be raised, but it didn't happen this strip and it probably won't happen in tomorrow's strip either. We can all either suck it up and accept it, or stop reading the comic for a while, or stop reading altogether, but let's not fill up four pages talking about it again, OK? OK."

EDIT: I will now shut up about it, in keeping with my own post.
