Who is looking forward to Star Wars: The Clone Wars?

I certainly am. I've seen every other Star Wars movie in the theater, no way I'm missing this one. I wishe it could've been done as live action, but animated is better than nothing at all.

All the animation previews have left me kinda cold. I don't really care one way or another.

What I really want to see is the TV series they're taking their time on.

I've heard from some previews that this is what the prequels should have been. I'm certainly interested in seeing it and so is my 4 year old son.

I'll most likely end up waiting for the DVD.

Then again, it is Star Wars, so depending on my schedule I may check it out in theaters.

I've gone from not caring to really liking what I'm seeing. I think I may have to go see this on in theaters. The animation just looks wonderful in motion.

The animation style from what I've seen in the ads kind of leaves me underwhelmed. It's not that it's bad, but I kind of expect more from a theatrical release. There's also the fact that 3d animation is really losing it's novelty for me unless it's something that can really knock my socks off I much prefer 2d.

Remember, this is *a* TV series.

The Clone Wars movie is, from what I understand, basically a theatrical release of the first few episodes of the new Clone Wars cartoon. It's kind of like how G.I. Joe had the season-beginning movie with the Big Cobra McGuffin (say, Weather Dominator, MASS Device, Serpentor, etc), and then would go on with the rest of the season.

Now, I am looking forward to this. The Clone Wars shorts on Cartoon Network were, IMNAAHO, really the best things to come out of the prequels.

I thought that there were two shows coming out. A cartoon and a live action one in a couple of years.

either way I will be seeing it that weekend.
