Well, naturally. Launching Pathfinder in the first place took a lot of sack.

:D

I like illustrated equipment lists.
The feats don't really impress me, but I might just be too much into the 4E mindset already... (I was shortly thinking: "Huh, shouldn't this feat be a power - oh, wait...) It is frightening how quick your mind can see "new patterns"...

Nit-Pick: I am not sure if the Cloak of Major Displacement still deserves its title if it only gives 15 rounds of miss chance, instead of continual miss chance like the Cloak of Minor Displacement. I mean, sure, the "minor" has a lower miss chance, but it counts every attack! (And I am not sure that I got what action it was to activate the major cloak.)

I just like that the core book is apparently going to have some breadth to its feat selection. I saw extra lay on hands for paladins, greater spell focus, and other things that suggest that classes other than fighter will have some actual choices.

Improved Familiar still makes my blood boil. Its a one feat tax for the wizard to get what the druid has automatically.
Well, if it weren't that the druid is considered overpowered, I guess you could say the wizard has enough stuff. ;)

To be honest, though, I've let a wizard take a pseudodragon familiar at 1st level for "free" with no severe repercussions -- the sleep poison only factored into a couple of encounters. I just didn't apply the usual "familiar advancement" to the pseudodragon yet. So it's not unreasonable to houserule Imp Familiar away.

I so wish I was going to Gencon this year...just for Paizo. I'd love to be playing in some of the pathfinder society stuff.

Pathfinder is made by people who know that horrible things go on over on the Character Optimization Boards, they just aren't exactly sure what those things are.
