What is the highest Str build? With out War Hulk.

There is some cancer mage+festering anger combo which results in an endlessly repeating combination that gives +2str each time, giving you what is essentially infinite strength.

Goliath (from Races of Stone) - +1 LA

+4 STR

Using Racial Substitution levels for barbarian (same book) - gets an additional +2 to STR when raging as well as actual reach.

So without anything else:

18 + 4 = 22 STR at 1st level

Add in +4 to STR when leveling up (won't get teh 20th level bonus due to the LA) = 26 STR straight up

When taking racial substitution level and raging = gets up to greater rage (again can't get 20th level class)

Gets an additional +8 to STR when raging

So that gets you to 34 STR

So start in swapping werebear, etc and I think you can get there without a lot of trouble.

Wild shape into dire bear str of 31, 2nd level warshaper for +4
so 35
animal growth for +8

and bite of the weretiger for +12
55 at level 14 throw in Girallon's blessing for an extra set of arms and you are a mean melee machine
Not sure what level bite of the werebear is and another option is to go savage druid from UA for another 8 possibly at this level, so 63 at level 14. I could be wrong on my math or levels here so correct me if I am

If you want to go fancy, you could go with a druid with 1 lvl of barbarian, then go frenzied berzerker and bear warrior.

Bear form + Rage + frenzy = huge strength bonus. Of course, you might slaughter your whole party some day.

Ha ha. Speaking of Frenzied Berserker, we've got a stone giant FB in the epic level party right now. Half of combat is him whaling on the monsters, then the other half is the party running away from him because he keeps failing the Will save to come out of his frenzy. The dwarf tends to fare poorly.

Try Half-Elf Martial/Something/Outcast Champion. He can give his comrades will save bonus of CHA mod + OC level. At epic level, it will be enough for the said giant to make a DC 20 will save.

Theoretically, the cleric in the party could cast calm emotions (I think) to put an end to the frenzy. However, he almost never has it prepared, and it's WAY more hilarious to have the giant fling a boat at the dwarf as he runs away.
