Well, my WotB stuff is all pdf so I won't be adverse to a HC compilation with extras (if any).

Space dependent - if we come in under our hard limit of 800 pages, we'll put extras in. So far we're at 70 pages, which is the first two adventures without the appendices plus the two guides, so it looks hopeful. The combined appendices will take up a LOT of space, though, so I don't want to promise anything.

For those asking about price: we've found out that 800 colour pages, hardback, will cost us $137 per unit to print! Yikes! So the price point will be higher than that, once we add in the cost of producing it and a little bit of profit. Like I said, it's gonna be a luxury item.

So a good retail guesstimate would be $199 or so.

This is sort of a random aside, but I seem to remember you posting previously that your group only gets together for a few hours, once per month to play the War of the Burning Sky.

Given the amount of money and effort I've seen you talk about putting into this (the Lulu prints, custom printed battle mats, etc.), I have to say that your players are very lucky. You seem to really go all-out to pack excitement into those gaming sessions. :)

Yup, 4 to 5 hours once a month... which makes for really slow progress through the campaign. We are over the one year mark of playing and just finished the Mad King's Banquet...

As a further aside, we are taking the dive into 4e. I realized I was spending time rewriting the encounters in order to challenge my large group of optimized characters...so I might as well spend the same amount of time rewriting them in 4e!

This means the wiki page will start having some updates from me, altho I don't want to post my conversions until after this next session so I can see how well the theory of conversion fits at the table.

This game is pretty much the only thing I do outside of work, college, and spending occasional weekends with my daughter, so I pretty much go overboard on it.

If you are ever in the Burnsville, MN area during the right 5 hours.. drop on in! :)

Thanks for the updates! :)

As someone who picked up Whiterock, RAR, and Ptolus, I'm certainly considering picking it up, depending on the final price point , page count (sounds like you'll have no problem filling the entire 800 pages!!) and the amount of "bells and whistles".

If possible, you may want to take a page from Monte's book, and offer a "Payment Plan" option... (Not sure if you can do that with a prject like this, though.

Huh.
We just hit our one year mark on "Age of Worms", and we're mid-way through HoHR (the 4th adventure.) [We play twice a month for 3 hours.]
