Recruiting Alternates: Scales of War 4E

We need one, possibly two PCs to join our party for the new Scales of War adventure path. We are currently on the first adventure, Rescue at Rivenroar, and are located in the town of Brindol. Those of you who've played 3.5's Red Hand of Doom may recognize it, but knowledge of that adventure is neither required nor requested.

PCs should be first level and built using 22 point buy, standard core races from PH only, please.

I currently do not have a subscription to D&D Insider, so we may or may not be able to take this adventure path to the very end. Regardless, we've got many, many months of playtime out of the first three adventures that were given away for free, and I may be able to acquire the others before we're through. This will likely be a long term endeavor unless I just get tired of running it, and I expect players to come and go throughout the duration.

We currently have:

Peregrine, a halfling Paladin
Elias, a half-elf Warlock (multiclass Wizard)
Aliyas, an elf Ranger
Illian, an Elf Cleric (renau1g is MIA at the moment, but we'll give him a bit before we replace him)

I think Brega's player (garyh) is still around and posting.

Too tired after driving to read over too much; hopefully more character thoughts from me tomorrow. Though wizard of some-sort seems the most obvious choice, I'll keep my options over.
 

Nope, actually Brega is the one we're replacing. Garyh's wife decided to run the campaign IRL so he dropped here. Renau1g is still up in the air though; hopefully he'll be back, but if not we'll be looking to replace his character as well.

We've got three strikers right now, with the warlock being a multiclassed wizard. I"m sure a little help in the controller department wouldn't hurt, and we may be down a leader before it's over with. There is also no defender yet.

Personally I don't care if all the roles are filled or not, so I'm not going to be picky on that point; play what you want and be happy. ;)

Tobais “to bits” Fenhir a merchant who had a run of bad luck recently and is now locking for ‎a way to regain his fortune.

Building on his background as a former caravan guard Tobais could be either a fighter ‎multyclassing into warlord or simply a warlord.‎
