5 rpgs I would take to a deserted island.

It wouldn't matter. I'd likely end up tearing them apart for kindling and toilet paper - so I guess whatever has the largest page count and the softest paper. ;)

Not saying I wouldn't try to run a game if in that situation with some other gamers, but rulebooks? Who needs friggin' rulebooks? :)

1) Vampire the Masquerade
2) 7th Sea (R&K version, not the Swashbuckling d20)
3) D&D 4E
4) Paranoia (The computer told me to bring this game to the... Hey, what is an island?)
5) Pendragon

1. D&D4E
2. D&D3.5 (I love Pathfinder, but it loses out here solely because of the extensive back library for 3.5)
3. Dread (The rules are so simple that I shouldn't even have to take it, but I list it to make sure I get the Jenga tower with it)
4. Star Wars Saga Edition (a generic sci-fi game just doesn't do Star Wars)
5. Savage Worlds (Just edges Alternity and New World of Darkness. Chosen for its versaitility. It does horror, though not as well as Dread, but lets me rolld ice; does modern and sci-fi well; and provides an alternative to D&D for fantasy)

Tougher question than I thought it would be. I love playing so many different games.

Okay, so you're going to be stranded on a deserted island for the rest of your life.

What 5 tabletop rpgs would you take with you?

1) Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay
2) Call of Cthulhu
3) WH40kRP: Dark Heresy
4) Ars Magica
5) Paranoia

EDIT: but the real question is, what would I use instead of dice?

/M
