The Retaking of Forgehold - 4E

Arden quiclky reaches Mal and Aelek and enters the conversation. We are indeed a group of five, sir, as of now. And, as is clear from our attires, our... areas of specilization are varied.

"As he told you, we are five actually. We are capable of watching over ourselves without much problem. Also, we have a few trick in our sleaves and more then capable in the domain of arcana. We might not be an army, but we are a sturdy group who has already prove themselves in combat." adds Aelek

[SBLOCK=OOC]Totally approved the choice of House, we are also aware of teh danger of dealing with that house. Mal can continue to post for Aelek to speed up thing, I'll post every few days only.[/SBLOCK]

[sblock]*sigh* you forget a measly 's' at the end of companions and the whole meaning of your post is changed...

"Well, you look capable, but we're not looking for just any 'mercenaries' off the street. Do you have any references?"

-''I should have kept Frosty's skull.'' Mal bemoans. ''It would have been a great reference.''

Mal raises an eyebrow at that claim. He conspicuously looks around at the team. Aelek, Ragnar and Mal were all wearing heavy armor, wielded impressive melee weapons and carried several backups. On the other hand, Angel and Arden were obviously arcanists. Warriors and Mages, that's all.

-''Yes. Very varied.'' Mal says with a straight face. ''You wouldn't believe the number of different ways we can kill something.''

"Not only kill, but also threaten, maim, beat up, strike breaking, ... and protect, I think." Ragnar adds cheerfully, after joining the others.

Your posts male me LOL :D :D

But seriously, I suppose you don't see arcanist mercenaries at every turn of the street in a PoL setting.... plus, I guess Angel could well pass for a rogue or such...[/sblock]

Dethos looks up at you all. "I feel I may be judging you a little harsh, it's just a little unusual in my experience for us to just have someone walk up and try to get a job. We usually get new blood brought in on a job by a trusted agent. How did you even hear we might have use of your services?"

How did you even hear we might have use of your services?

-''Beside the fact that that your house and Deluna's are the only two group with the ressources and need to hire people like us in the area? We also have this letter from a guy named Mirten.''

Mal hands the man the letter Mirten gave them.

"Ah... I thought you might have this for me, I just wanted to be sure. I definitely have something I'd like you to do for us. Come back tomorrow for the details, this isn't a rush job but we'd appreciate it being done right."
