We need to have a plan in place. Informal poll. If we don't reach 10 players, what do you feel about...

  • Seeing 2 OTHER people play 2 characters One in each game.
  • 2 Games of 4, everyone has a hard run
  • Playing in a game with three characters
  • DMPCs (With bad tactics)
  • Bumping 3 people?

Delay the second group until after MP goes up on the compendium. Then you should be able to find 2 extra people who want test stuff out - especially if you advertise that its allowed.

Plus then we have a sort of MP group and a control group without it. Granted, other differences in luck/tactics+teamwork/builds builds likely outweigh the changes from the supplement itself, but maybe something stands out.

I'd be willing to throw my hat in the ring for a little dungeon delving, if you are still looking for players. If so, are there any roles that are especially needed?

I'm willing to forgo using Martial Power if the choice is between changing my concept and not playing. My Paladin can easily be tweaked to just use stuff from the PHB.

I think this is a nice idea. Especially since a few people have already expressed an interest in playing MP-based characters.

Otherwise, I'd be cool with this.

Okay....

I have so far

Party 1
---------
Victim - Human Fighter
Annalist - Human Wizard
NacMac - Elf Ranger
Redclaw - Half-elf Cleric
SHag Spellsword - Half-Elf Warlock
(all roles, double striker)

Party 2
---------
Ev KB - Bugbear Warlord
Insight - Human Paladin
Walking Dad - Drow Warlock
Nerdy Tenor -?? WIzard
Atatanatanatanatos - Fighter (Tempest)

EvKB I dropped you to group 2 because I want a leader in each group and you haven't posted your char yet.
Nerdy tenor, your party lacks a controller but don't feel you must play a wizard, controller is the most optional role.
