Looking for a spell

I'm trying to find the reference to a spell that causes it's target to do max damage on normal hits(not crits). One of my fellow players used the spell in an earlier game and I am trying to find it. I think it is a 3-4th level cleric spell but not sure about that.

You mean max damages for a weapon dice, like 12 for a great axe?

It seems fairly weak as an effect of 3-4th level spell.

IIRC 3.0e Weapon Master prestige class had similar class ability (Ki Damage). But I don't know any particular spell to create such an effect.

Hmm I don't remember any Max damage spell. I do remeber a divine feat called Luck Devotion. I gave you average damage no matter what you rolled. But it requires luck domain. Doon't think you would have forgotten those details.

Possible. But that is the ability only the cleric himself can use. It seems that the OP is referring to something that grant ability to comrades? Or not?

Exactly, it is some spell that I am looking for. One of our primary fighters does 4d8+7 on a successful hit(a high level monk whose fists are considered Huge). In 2 more levels this same character will be doing 8d8+7, so such a spell buff would really increase his damage potential.
