Pathfinder 1E FLGS / Pathfinder

The Lost Muse

First Post
My present RPG group began life just before 4e came out, and after giving that a solid try, we've begun playing a couple of different systems. I am shortly beginning a Ptolus campaign using the pathfinder beta test, but would like anyone who's played the pathfinder adventure paths to suggest which of the three currently out is the most suited to the type of game I like running.

I like modules with a fair amount of investigation, challenging combat encounters, and I like "save the world" type campaigns. I tend to prefer urban campaigns.

I'm trying to get my FLGS to support Pathfinder in addition to 4e, so I figure if I order some of the paizo stuff, maybe others will also.

Dont count on your FLAGS on supporting it. Your much better off subscribing to it via Paizo.

As to adventures....Since your in Ptolus you do have some options, there are some that fit well in there from Paizo(there are a couple more from other companies already long released):

The U series is Urban, so:

U1, Gallery of Evil. For 8th level characters.

U2, Hangman's noose

The Curse of the Crimson Throne AP is set in the city of Kovosa, which you could adapt to Ptolus. Further, 4 out of the 6 modules in that AP are pretty much entirely city based, with number 4 and 5 being based mostly outside the city. Might be worth a look.

This is my suggestion as well.
