Sounds like the Old Ones are on their way... and they're NOT happy.

It's not actually a sound. It's a "roar" of radio waves. Stars do give off radio waves, but this was MUCH "louder" than expected.

I just saw an episode of Dr. Who the other day where big bang was explained as an timetravelling ship venting out its fuel that went critical. They had to do it someplace safe so they jumped to a time before the beginning or something.
