Dungeon Delve feedback for WotC

While I am not knowledgeable about the exact numbers, I am pretty confident our Dungeon Tiles vastly outsells any map product we've produced. While maps are easier to use, they are harder to customize. With mapping, customization often wins, I think.
Customization indeed wins, sir! I like the "we'll use dungeon tiles for the delve" idea.

Does wotc plan to reprint any of the "DU1, DU2, etc" dungeon tiles? It looks like halls of the giant kings is already out of print.

If they only put more accessories (also more of the same type, for pieces you need more than once or twice) into the Dungeon Tiles (hint, hint ;)).

Bye

I'm not sure. But holy crap I didn't realize the secondary market was selling these tiles for that much of a markup (I am looking at the vendors at Amazon).

::Blink, blink::

I think I might go talk to the Rouse on Monday, though I am sure he's already on top of it (he usually is by the time I go talk to him about something).

Thanks for asking the question. It was an eye opener for me.

I thourghly enjoy the tiles as well. Currently I have mapped out the entire home of a dwarven clan on my 2 8x4ft tables complete with a bridge connecting the two tables with water falls. (camera is broken so no photos :.-()

another set I would love to see are dock areas complete with a ship(s).

At this point I have multiple sets of each one can nearly create anything I want.

However- could we have rounded corners and the such for room creation (4x4 square with rounded corner and or 2x2 would find the most use.

Also, watch tower / castle set ups.

I'll have to check out the book also.

Hell, I'm waiting for the DDI Dungeon Mags to have full blown maps for printing use.

Been a while since I've looked though so perhaps that's already happened...

Hah. It's never going to happen Joe - although it SHOULD. How cool would it be to have a miniatures-scale map for each encounter area? But, ufortunately that would cut into the sales of Dungeon Tiles (or I bet this is how WotC would see it) and so it will never happen. I can dream though.

I had a thought. What if a PDF publisher sold (for say a $1.99 a throw) sets of miniature scale maps that were 'compatible' with particular Dungeon adventures? Of course that might rapidly result in a cease and desist...

This is not a consideration at all. Dungeon Tiles just about sell themselves, even with maps on the market or for download.

Okay...

So... since WoTC has the maps, since they are included with the adventurers... and it's NOT competing with the Dungeon Tiles, WTF is the hold up?
