“Hnnh!” Woe hunts the elf with a predatory look in his eyes, not giving it the satisfaction of slowing down with another arrow pegged in his shoulder. “Guess what, you fairy pansy? I got a special offer for you!”

“Tiring of your old earrings? Looking to expand with a new fashionable piercing?” He smiles mischievously through the pain, imitating the tone of voice of a salesman that cons village fools.

“Don’t settle for that tiny outdated jewelry. Try the Brand New Hardcore trend in the field! All the cool kids are doing it!”

Woe tightens his grip and bursts forward, driving his spear into the archer’s chest while providing torsion with a last-second twist of his hand. The tip buries into the archer’s nipple and destroys it, mutilating the surrounding tissue.

[sblock=Actions]Woe uses Inspiring Word but heals only 9 hp (mocking elves motivates Woe). He then moves and charges the archer, marking it, hitting AC 23 and dealing 9 damage.[/sblock]

[sblock=St. Cuthbert got nothing on my vengeance!]Don’t worry, the final blow will be to knock the elf out, not kill it. Death would have been too kind a prize for that auto-hitting auto-critting hermaphrodite.

Worst thing for me this fight? Not the obscene damage output our never-missing foes puts out, but that Woe has been denied any chance to benefit from any fighter powers or features. He might as well have been a NPC with a spear.

What does 'tsnt' mean?
‘til start of next turn, I think.[/sblock]

ooc: no time for a map update, but I do want to jump in here with this:

Woe's charge injures the elf, but he immediately jumps back a step and whips a quick arrow at Woe. The fighter's lightning response rattles him, though, and the arrow pings off Woe's armor harmlessly. (ooc: uses Not So Close; shifts 1 NE and makes a ranged attack, which misses. Woe gets a combat challenge attack.)

Palindrome and Tander are up...

The archer has barely retreated another step back before Woe’s instinctive training kicks in. He finds a split-second opening as the elf is about to leap and quickly inserts another jab.

The cold steel rams through another nipple and wreaks havoc on underlying muscle fibers, punishing the bowman’s cowardice with a tip-less bleeding chest.

“Two for one, girl - that's one size smaller bra for you! I wonder what your goblin boy-toys think of your missing mammary glands, though?”

Woe hits AC 22 and deals 10 damage.

With profanity galore, Palindrome clambers over the wall into the courtyard.

"Hey, *******!"

Palindrome fires a magic missile.

OOC: Magic Missile at Auto-Critting Maggot (1d20+4=9, 2d4+4=9)

*Sigh*

Is there any other dice-rolling utility on the Internet? For the love of puppies!

"************ *********** ********** ****** ************ ************ ***********!" screams Palindrome.

[sblock=Well...]Since my character is probably going to be shot (again) and killed (again), I'd like to say that it's been a lot of fun. Please remember to cremate him, mix him in concrete, and hit Dod*3 over the head with the concrete.[/sblock]

Tander struggles to keep behind Woe, moving quickly and wondering if his next step could be his last.

OOC: Double move (10 squares) to get as close to Woe as possible.

Round 6, continued

Atreus bursts out of the bushes, moving quickly towards the last foe.

Woe charges, plunging his spear into the archer's body once, and then again as the archer tries to jump back and fire an quick shot at him. The arrow goes wide, and the archer is bleeding heavily. (ooc: Woe hits. The archer uses not so close and misses, as described above. Woe hits again with combat challenge.)

Palindrome climbs over the wall and sends a blast of magic flying uselessly into the hillside. Neera follows him, trying to stay behind him.

Round 7

Tander chugs up the hill after Woe.

The archer moves swiftly backwards, angling away from Atreus, and fires another arrow at Woe, which once again glances harmlessly away. (ooc: miss by one again)

Atreus doesn't stop his pace and runs all that he can to catch the elf. While he is running he takes a deep breather and say's outloud in elvish " Don't prolong the inevitable elf, it was never meant to be. If thou cherish thy life and want to live, let go of thy bow. Otherwise I will be forced use these good daggers of mine and chop thou into little pieces and ship thy remains to thy family! To see what have become of thou! "

“Mwahaha, puny tree-hugger, you still haven’t learned anything!” Woe stalks the elf relentlessly, laughing in defiance as its arrows keep deflecting off his armor. “Your arrows cannot kill me – I’m friggin’ invincible!

With a burst of speed he closes in on the elf and springs into a gleeful lunge.

“Perhaps you’re not satisfied with your new breast cap piercings? Try this one, on the house!”

Woe’s spear once again strike’s true, this time making an even more cruel incision in the elf’s groin - accompanied by the squishy sound of soft external organs rupturing.

[sblock=Did anyone say hubris?]Because Woe’s got enough for a whole theater of Greek tragedies!

Move and charge. Woe hits AC 24, deals 6 damage, and marks in more ways than one (again).

Tander continues to struggle to keep up with the others. I must remember to get some lighter armor, he thinks, beads of sweat forming on his brow.

OOC: Same !@#, different round - move as close as possible to Woe
